Holy Family College of education for women,Koduvayur is a self financing college,Affiliated to the University of Calicut and recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education. The college is managed by "Holy Family college of Education for women" Trust, Koduvayur run by Congregation of Holy Family.Congregation of Holy Family was founded in the year 1914 by Blessed Mariam Thressia from a humble beginning in the year 1995,it has developed and progressed at a rapid speed, occupying a prestigious place among the educational institutions of higher Learning.

We offers active learning in a vibrant Christian atmosphere where students connect the classroom and their world. hences students achieve their academic activities in full potential within a stipulated time.

We always look for quality rather than quantity. W inspire children to acquire the attitudes,skill and knowledge required to become a good teacher. We promote student teachers to attend Teachers Eligibility Test(TET), amandatory requirement to be a teacher which would help them for their in both government and private schools in Kerala.

The College celebrated its Silver Jubilee Year in 2019-2020 with a sense of great pride and fulfilment in achieving this landmark. The year-long celebrations inaugurated on 14th June 2019 by Fr. Saji Vattukalathil with variety programmes on the theme "Empowering Women with Values".
